Lancashire Sportshall League 

The Lancashire Sportshall League operates during the winter months. Sportshall athletics is a great introduction to athletics for young people providing an exciting afternoon of non stop action, noise and fun. It uses safe and state of the art equipment and provides a good introduction and base for track and field athletics during the winter months.

The League is for Clubs and Schools for the Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups.

The League operates as a team competition but with individual Athlete of the Match Awards.

The League links into the national sportshall framework and is used to select the Lancashire Team for the Regional and National sportshall Competitions.

North West Region Inter-counties Champs - November 2009 - SportCity, Manchester

30 Boys and Girls (60 in total). Athletes are selected from performances at the first Sportshall league meeting for North West Inter-Counties Final in November at Sportcity, Manchester. U11 athletes need to enter the first comp on the 18th October to be considered for Lancashire selection.
